Leyden cheese
Definition:
[LI-dn] Flavored with caraway or cumin seeds, this Dutch cheese is made from a combination of partially skimmed cow's milk and buttermilk. It's spicy and semisoft and delicious as a snack, especially when served with dark bread and dark beer. See also cheese.
