Rossini
Definition:
[roh-SEE-nee] Dishes that include foie gras, truffles and a demi-glace sauce--either as an integral part or as a garnish--are tagged with this appellation. tournedos Rossini and eggs Rossini are two popular examples. Such dishes were named after 19th-century Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini because of his passionate love of food.
